European Senior Management

Steven Davis
President, GSI Commerce International

Steven Davis was named President for GSI Commerce International in April 2007; and is also Executive Vice President of parent company GSI Commerce Inc. in the US. He is responsible for bringing GSI’s unique end-to-end e-commerce platform leadership in the US to the rest of the World. Steven is a GSI veteran and has been leading the company since 2000 in executive roles in the General & Specialty division, Corporate Marketing, Product Management and GSI’s full service interactive agency. Prior to joining GSI, Steven served as the Vice President of Marketing for athletic footwear retailer Just for Feet.

Hosein Moghaddas
Managing Director, Sales & Marketing, GSI Commerce International

Hosein joined the company in November 2007 and heads the Business Development and Marketing functions throughout GSI’s International regions. Hosein comes to GSI from competitor, ATG. Hosein culminated his almost 7 years with ATG as Vice President International and was responsible for deals with companies such as Spain’s El Corte Ingles, BMW, Vodafone and France Telecom. Before that, Hosein worked for a variety of eCommerce and Business Process Outsourcing organisations such as IBM, Comdisco & Perot Systems.

Bart Swanson
Managing Director, Business Management & Strategy, GSI Commerce International

Bart Swanson

Bart Swanson was appointed in July 2008 to manage GSI Commerce International’s Business Management and Strategy efforts. In this role, Bart is responsible for managing all GSI accounts outside the USA, and helping manage the international expansion. Bart is a European internet veteran, who has leveraged his experience to advise a wealth of organizations throughout Europe. Prior to GSI, Mr. Swanson founded Dropshop Ltd., a European online selling service, and was one of the key executives who helped establish Amazon in Germany, France and the UK. Previously, Mr. Swanson held the post of Managing Director at EMI Music France, and worked at EMI Music Europe and Bertelsmann AG in France and the UK.

Iain Beveridge
Vice President Operations, GSI Commerce International

Iain joined GSI in April 2009 with responsibility for fulfilment and customer services operations. He has a long background in b2c retail, having been Operations Director at the UK’s most profitable b2c retailer, N Brown Group plc , for 11 years. Since 1999, he has majored in multi-channel and e-commerce retail operations, with operational board roles in 3rd party providers,( iForce and MetaPack) and having run his own consultancy business for clients such as Marks & Spencer, asos, John Lewis, and Norbert Dentressangle, where most of his work focused on strategic scaling.

Sameer Shamsuddin
Chief Technology Officer, GSI Commerce International

Sameer is responsible for the continued expansion of our international systems and infrastructure, service delivery to our partners, and developing and delivering on the technology positioning of GSI International in the marketplace. Previously, Sameer was GSI Vice President of Product Marketing for 4 years, where he led GSI roadmap initiatives. Sameer joined GSI in 2000 when GSI acquired Fogdog Sports.

Enda Breslin
Vice President Technology Solutions, GSI Commerce International

Enda joined the company in 2005, is responsible for Technology Solutions and ensuring local requirements are continually added to the solution. A veteran of e-commerce in Europe, Enda has pioneered and lead efforts in building and operating end-to-end outsourced e-commerce solutions in Europe since the early 90’s. Prior to GSI, Enda served as Technical Director for CompuServe in Central Europe and was CEO and Founder of Aspherio, which was acquired by GSI Commerce in 2005.

Ben Willis
Human Resources Director, GSI Commerce International

Ben was appointed Director of Human Resources for GSI International in May 2008 having worked with the UK arm of the company since late 2007. He is responsible for designing and delivering the HR Strategy for GSI International with the aim of creating a work environment which attracts and retains talented people who do remarkable work. Ben joined the company with a background in consultancy in the public and private sector, which saw him hold senior management HR roles at CAPITA UK, CityWest Homes and Williams Lea in the past 9 years.
